We Assist

The Rio Grande Farmers Coalition aims to grow more local food and build resilience in our foodshed. We organize and connect growers and food activists in order to forge a collective voice that represents the needs of producers, cooks, eaters, communities and ecosystems. The RGFC brings farmers together to share skills, build community, and define needs. From the farmers market to the senate, farmers are a critical voice for healthy food and healthy land. RGFC creates a space for local growers to take ownership of the solutions we need to support ourselves and our families while providing nutritious, locally grown food to our communities. We want to ensure ALL farming voices in our community are welcomed and supported in our local chapter.
