Santa Fe County Launches AgriGate Marketplace to Connect Local Food Producers and Buyers

Santa Fe County is proud to announce the launch of the AgriGate Marketplace, a new digital platform designed to strengthen our local food system. This initiative builds upon the success of our Food Community Map, taking the next step in directly connecting local food producers with buyers and community members

Got extra produce? The Marketplace is for you!
It’s the perfect place to connect with your community and make sure great local food doesn't go to waste.

• Finished at the Farmers' Market with 10lbs of potatoes left? List them!

• Have a backyard apple tree overflowing with fruit? Offer them for free or trade!

• Need 10 lbs of green chile for a big batch of stew? Post a "wanted" listing!

How It Works:

• List Your Items: Post photos and descriptions of your available food.

• Set Your Terms: Choose sale, trade, or free, and select your preferred payment method.

• Arrange Pickup: Select a meet-up location. (We're working to designate "AgriGate Pick-Up Points" across the region to make exchanges easy and secure).

And this is just the beginning! Our next step is to launch an e-commerce function, allowing you to buy and sell directly on the platform with just a click.
